The update process is rather simple, so I’ll try my best to guide you to it:

1) Download the 1.32 update for Mandigo at: http://www.onehertz.com/portfolio/wordpress/mandigo/

2) Now you can choose to do two things:
Simply upload the entire unpacked Mandigo directory to your server, and agree to overwrite everything (this is what I do and so far I haven’t lost any settings)

To be 100% sure that you aren’t going to lose your settings, you can upload the rename the Mandigo directory you want to upload (ie. Mandigo1.32). Then you can manually move all of your modifications/settings and other things afterwards.

However I’m pretty sure that you without any problems can do the first option (as there shouldn’t be any issues if you’re running anything higher than a Mandigo pre 1.26).

3) If you should be running a pre 1.26 version, you can now safely remove the following (as you say you’re on 1.31, this shouldn’t be relevant):
– stylesheets: blue.css, green.css, orange.css, pink.css, purple.css, read.css, teal.css
– thumbnails: scheme-*.jpg
– images sub-directories: images/blue/, images/green/, images/orange/, images/pink/, images/purple/, images/red/, images/teal/

I guess I have to elaborate on what I meant about the star appeal of Jay-Z. I can’t do anything but agree on the fact that he, as many other artists at the moment, only seem to collaborate with others at the moment. What I meant with my comment is that Rihanna is only a star due to Def Jam Records, which is after all down to Jay-Z. Granted, he has just decided to step back from his post, but when Rihanna was ‘found’ it was under his supervision.

I guess I can say you’re, more or less, right about the image of standing under an umbrella with someone, could be something romantic. That said however, I still can’t change my point of views about the lyrics being simple and pointless. Maybe I should take the final step and just declare, that I’m not very fund about 98% of all music being about love, but that will be a losing battle. Luckily I can just decide not to buy or listen to Rihanna (or Tina Dico(w)) for that matter, but when their songs are played 2-5 times per hour, it’s hard when you like to listen to the radio…
